PS3 Firmware 3.41

July 27th, 2010

Switch on your PS3 today and you’ll be informed of a new firmware update… don’t get to excited thou as it’s not for 3D BD movie playback, thats September. This is purely a cosmetic enhancement for the PlayStation Store.

Firmware 3.41 is nothing substantial but improves the PlayStation Store  by bringing an all new “You May Like” section. When you are viewing the details page of a specific piece of content on the PlayStation Store, you will also be greeted with this new section which will highlight similar pieces of content based on the purchases of PSN users.

Expect to see this in action when UK store update hits tomorrow afternoon.
